NESA Weekly Update
Week of October 7-13
Director's Note
Dear NESA Community,
As your Director, I've had the incredible privilege of witnessing firsthand the extraordinary talents and character of our students. From the moment I stepped into this role, I knew I had found my dream job. However, nothing could have prepared me for the sheer beauty and warmth of this community.
I've had the pleasure of meeting parents who support their children's artistic endeavors with unwavering pride. I've worked alongside dedicated pARTners who tirelessly contribute to NESA's success. I've been inspired by our brilliant directors, each a paragon in their field. And of course, I've had the honor of getting to know our incredibly talented students.
While I anticipated encountering exceptional individuals, the level of support, kindness, and camaraderie among our students has truly surpassed my expectations. Teenagers are known for their drama, and artists are no exception. Yet, the amount of love and support I've witnessed among our students far outweighs any petty disagreements. They provide constructive criticism, knowing that it's essential for growth. They cheer for each other, laugh together, and offer comforting hugs in times of need.
I'm incredibly grateful to our parents for instilling such wonderful qualities in their children. I've encountered many talented individuals, outside of NESA, with less-than-ideal personalities, but our students are a testament to the positive influence of their upbringing. I also want to express my deep appreciation for our amazing directors who become surrogate parents to our students, providing guidance and support during their time at NESA.
In essence, I'm truly honored to be part of such an amazing community. The talent, character, and kindness of our students, parents, and directors fill my heart with gratitude and pride. Thank you for making NESA such a special place.
