GRADE CHECK
Students failing any classes are NOT allowed to participate in UIL activities (marching band). Please check your/ your student's grades and missing assignments. EVERY member of the band is important - we need everyone!
Grade check for eligibility is: Friday, September 20
Attendance
Attendance in band is a GRADE!
Pre-planned and emergency absences must be communicated via email to Ms. Beer AND filling out the attendance form
Both of these steps must be done by a parent/ guardian
Failure to communicate an absence/ tardy will result in a loss of points in weekly and performance grades
Not all absences/ tardies will be considered "excused", please see our band website for more specific information

10/12 - Birdville Marching Festival - this will be an all day event, and due to the schedule, it is unlikely that students will return to CHHS in time to attend the homecoming dance
Join the Landry Crew! We are in need of volunteers to help wash the marching uniforms this fall. This is a valuable service to our kids AND you get to work from home! Please click on the link to sign up!
Concessions
The band boosters are responsible for the concession stands at CHHS! It's a fun and easy way for your students to get volunteer hours. Most games are Thursday right after school.
Only parents that volunteer for football games are allowed to watch halftime from the field. Please make sure you remain in the stands during halftime, or better yet, volunteer to help!
