This week 8th grade students received information regarding high school planning and 9th grade course recommendations. The articulation team will continue to meet with students in classes next week. The 9th grade planning presentation can be accessed using the following link tinyurl.com/grade9planning. Within the presentation, students will find the link needed to register for classes. Students need to submit their registration by Friday, January 24th.
Urbana High School will be presenting to our 8th graders on Monday 1/13 during Hawk Talk.
UHS is hosting their Academic Information Night for parents and students on Thursday, January 23rd from 5:00pm - 7:00pm.
Students with individual questions, who would like to further discuss their registration, should add their name to the sign-up sheet at lunch.
We are having an Open House for our new FCPS Special Education Family Resource Center. Mark your calendars! February 21st, 1:00pm-4:00pm at 250 Madison St Frederick MD 21701.
More information with a proper invitation will be coming at the end of the month.

The UMS Science Fair will be during the day on February 26th, 2025. Students who would like to participate should read and fill out tinyurl.com/umsfair. Applications are due on February 12th. Please email ashley.oland@fcps.org for questions.
