HMS Student Council is sponsoring a candy drive to support Trunk or Treat events for the Springdale Police Department and Jones Elementary School. We will collect candy October 14 - October 25. Candy can be turned in to advisory teachers.
The team that brings the most candy (measured in weight) will win extra outside time during advisory. The advisory that brings the most candy will get an extra special prize. Stay tuned for more details!
From PTO
In October, we are focusing on Hellstern’s Christmas Closet. The Christmas Closet is a way for students who need a little something to shop for themselves or choose a gift for a family member. If you would like to contribute, you may purchase items from this Amazon wishlist (be sure to choose Hellstern as the delivery address when you check out!).
Or you may make a cash donation and PTO will shop for you!
Meet the staff!
Each week we will highlight a few members of the Hellstern staff!
This week we highlight our Instructional Facilitators. These ladies are master teachers that work with teachers to model lessons, coach on instructional strategies, work with student data to identify growth areas for our school, and serve as a liaison between faculty and administrators. As a parent, if you ever have questions about curriculum, student data, or resources to support your student - these are your "go to" people!
