It's a Great Day to be a Bulldog
November 8th Newsletter
Hello Bulldog Families!
Thank you to all the families who joined us for progress conferences! It was wonderful to connect and have such meaningful conversations about each student's growth and goals. We appreciate your partnership and commitment to our Bulldogs' success!
We're also thrilled to remind you that the Kindergarten and 1st Grade concert is coming up on Thursday, November 14th! We can’t wait to welcome families back into the gym for our music concerts and to see our young performers shine on stage once again. See you there for an evening of music and celebration!
Students will be participating in Unstoppable Week, which replaces what was previously known as “Red Ribbon Week” at many schools. This event is being delivered in partnership with BN Parents, an organization associated with Chestnut Health Systems. Each day of the week, we will focus on a “Superpower” that will assist your child in reaching their full potential. Our goal is to make it fun and engaging! We encourage you to build it up, help them pick out clothing to go along with the activities we will be engaging in each day of the week, and ask them all about it when they return home.
- Monday- Wear Flannel

- Wednesday- Wear Workout Gear
- Thursday- Dress as your favorite book character

Towanda Trot Fundraiser
Join us for the Towanda Trot, a walkathron where students walk as many laps as possible on Friday November 22nd. Our goal is to raise $5,500, and we need your help to make it happen by getting sponsors for your child. Students earn prizes for the amount of money they collect. State Farm and Country Financial employees are eligible for company matching by submitting your donation amounts through your company website! (Note: Company matching donations do not count towards prizes.)
Help Us Celebrate Our School's Diversity!
We value the diverse backgrounds and cultures that make up our Towanda Elementary community, and we want to celebrate them throughout the year! To ensure we’re creating a meaningful and inclusive environment, we’d love your input on the cultural celebrations and traditions that are important to your family. Please use this link to share!
Spritwear Store Open!
Use this link to visit the Towanda Spiritwear store. This is open until Nov. 20th to allow for the apparel to come in time for use as a holiday present. Contact the office if this is the case so we can hold it back. The flyer is below!
