It's our final family message of the year and this year we are finishing up from the math hallway with Kiah Thomas who teaches Algebra and 7th Grade Math. She's been teaching for eight years, all at Stanwood MS in the math department.
She says that what makes Stanwood MS special is "the amazing teachers who are always putting the needs of their students first."
When Mrs. Thomas is not teaching, she likes to spend time with her family. She has two daughters, ages 3 and 1, and countless nieces and nephews. She says, "Family is everything to me--you can find me spending time camping this summer, going on walks, and baking with my daughters."
