April Community Appreciation Night
Fruzen student Raul Sanchez-Martinez's artwork was recently selected as the cover of the 2023-2024 Southern Lakes Anthology.
Beloit Learning Academy student Mario Flores-Culin received the Herb Kohl Educational Foundation $10,000 Initiative Scholarship.
Merrill 5th grade teacher Nailah Adama received the Herb Kohl Educational Foundation Teacher Fellowship Award.
CW Shaw Promotional Products was recognized for its long-standing partnership and generosity with our district.
The Greater Beloit Chamber of Commerce was honored for their invaluable partnership and unwavering commitment to our district and community.
The Greater Beloit Economic Development Corporation was honored for their continuous partnership and collaboration with our Academies at Beloit Memorial and for fostering growth, innovation, and prosperity within our region.
2024 Skills USA Competition
For the first time ever, our talented BMHS students showcased their skills at this year's SkillsUSA State Competition! They demonstrated their electrical wiring, construction, carpentry, cabinet making, welding fabrication, masonry, and CNC knowledge.

Arbor Day Celebration
Our 5th-grade students celebrated Arbor Day with the help of Hillcrest Tree Care. Thanks to the generosity of Colton Hansberry (Class of 2012) and the Hillcrest Team, our 5th-grade classes dedicated a tree with a special plaque at each of our elementary schools.
Celebrity Chef Visit at Todd Elementary School
Thanks to our partnership with Chartwells, Todd Elementary had the honor of hosting Jonathan Zaragoza, owner of Birrieria Zaragoza and a featured chef on Netflix's "Taco Chronicles"! Chef Zaragoza brought the flavors of Mexico, sharing his culinary expertise with mouthwatering dishes inspired by his rich heritage with our students.
Heidi Andre - Receives Lifetime Achievement Award
Heidi Andre was the recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award from Beloit Rotary.
Her dedication to education spans 40 years, enriching the lives of countless students and families. Her passion and commitment make her an exceptional educator, leaving an indelible mark on the community she serves.
Converse McTeacher Night
Bucciferro Family McDonald's hosted a McTeacher Night benefiting Converse Elementary School. Converse received a donation of almost $700! We appreciate our business and community partners and their support of our students and schools.
Math Meet Competition
Our talented students competed and showcased their mathematical skills in a Math Meet against teams from Lodi, Stoughton, and Monona Grove.
Congratulations to the top-scoring students from our district: Austin, Darby, Eli, and Zaren!
Austin was also the top scorer among all 64 participants!
Junior Achievement Competition
BMHS students Sean Goodspeed and Brody Scott recently participated in a business competition through Junior Achievement.
Fifty-eight students representing eight high schools attended the business strategy tournament.
Sean and Brody earned 3rd place, each receiving a $500 scholarship.
Green Bay Packer Visit
Green Bay Packers players Bryan Bulaga, Mike Daniels, Alex Green, Elgton Jenkins, Kenny Clark, Rasheed Walker, and President/CEO Mark Murphy made a surprise stop at Beloit Memorial High School on their 2024 Tailgate Tour. We thank them for inspiring and motivating our students to dream big, set goals, ask for help, and never give up. They also provided BMHS with a $5,000 donation!
