Waukazoo families,
What a fun year at Waukazoo this school year! We hope your students have made as many memories as we have! To finish the school year, teachers are planning special celebrations and saying hard goodbyes. We especially know how hard this time can be for staff, students, and families as we say goodbye to our 5th grade students. We hope all our 5th graders remember how special they all are to Waukazoo and that they will always be part of our school family.
Our PTA has been amazing this year and we are so thankful for all the work they do to help our students make memories at Waukazoo. Last night, they hosted their annual Park Party, and wow! What a turn out! Thank you so much for all your hard work and dedication to our school. It showed last night, and every time you put on an event, how much you care for our students.
I also want to recognize all our staff at Waukazoo for their hard work this year with students. Especially those that do all the small things that often go unnoticed. From our office staff, to lunch staff, to recess helpers. Each of these most important adults at Waukazoo help hand out bandaids, give hugs to kids in hard moments, and give our students extra care when they need it most. Our teachers get to do the hard work they do each day because of all these folks behind the scenes. Thank you!
Next week, we have two half days to finish the school year on both Thursday and Friday. Please be sure to respect our safety measures in place on these last exciting days at parent pick up.
