I hope everyone had a great week! We are excited to keep the momentum going as we head into a busy and exciting stretch of the school year.

Congratulations to our Final Four in the March Madness Attendance Challenge! Way to go, Mrs. Crane, Mrs. Zerr, Mrs. Rush, and Mrs. Gomez! We can't wait to see which class will take the top spot. Remember, just being present helps your class get closer to winning the ice cream sundae party.

Here’s what’s coming up this week:

Monday: Fuller Family Gathering Awards – Join us as we celebrate our amazing students.
Tuesday: Kindergarten Cap & Gown Photos – Our kindergarteners will take their special milestone pictures.
Wednesday: We will celebrate our fantastic paraprofessionals for all they do. We will also recognize Autism Awareness Day by wearing blue.
Thursday: Our 2nd Annual Fuller Family Vacation: A Culture Celebration Night will be held. We look forward to a great evening together.
Friday: No School – This is a bad weather day that we did not use and will not need to make up. Enjoy your three-day weekend.

Good attendance is important for many reasons. Your child receives the maximum benefit of education by being in school every day, and numerous studies show a strong link between academic performance and consistent attendance.

A compulsory attendance notification will be sent to the parent if a student has unexcused absences on 10 or more days or parts of days within a six-month period or three days or parts of days during a four-week period. Notice it says “parts of days.” This means that leaving school early, or arriving excessively late in the day, even if the child attended for some of the day, may count as an absence.

In the state of Texas, Pre-K is not required, however, once you enroll your student in school, all attendance laws apply.

Fuller Elementary BETA club (similar to a National Honor Society but with service as an important component) is preparing to compete in the state convention in February. Our students are working very hard and looking forward to this new adventure. Some of our students have also already qualified for the national convention in Florida. We are hoping to ease the expense cost on our parents by recruiting small business sponsorships. Please consider helping our community's young scholars expand their academic horizons. Please contact the email(s) at the bottom of the flyer if you are interested. Feel free to reach out to local businesses and friends that may be willing to help out. Thank you!!

We will have several exciting positions open next year and we would love to see new members and existing members step up to take on some important shoes that need to be filled. Please take a look at the positions below and let us know if you show any interest in a board chair role or executive board chair role. You can show interest in more than one position unless its a 2 year role. There will be a formal election held to grant roles at the May PTO meeting.

• Anyone entering the building MUST be prepared to show ID BEFORE entering
• IDs or car tags will be checked at dismissal for car and walk ups.
• Please label all jackets, lunch boxes, and water bottles.
• Transportation changes must be sent to FESTransportation@aubreyisd.net by 2PM daily.
• No student checkouts after 2:30PM.
• Instruction begins at 7:40 (students MUST be in seats by then)
• School day ends at 3:15
