The Boys in Apartment 512

This time for our monthly Selena music video binging, we rented a projector and set up a drive-in theater! Just us, the stars, and Selena's sweet tunes!

Man. Are you ever just laying in bed and suddenly you remember how amazing Selena is? Literal queen of Tejano music?? We do. Brad burst into the kitchen just now and started one of our impromptu worshipping- I mean appreciation- circles. We don't mind though. #SelenaFansForever!!

We know we're a little late to the Easter festivities, but Selena just loved collecting eggs. So we're painting each of our eggs in a different song's theme. Mine's Como La Flor! *wink wink nudge nudge*

Time to start looking at inspo for Apartment 512, the ultimate Selena-inspired house! We're thinking an exterior like this one. We want something super open and bright, with layers to represent the depth of Selena's amazing music! A little more colorful than this one hopefully, but the vibes are the same.

We've started looking at interior inspo ideas too. All three of us really liked this one! It's super flowy and open, and gives a modern feel. We just wish it was a bit more colorful.

Each day, we like to spend some time listening to Selena's songs. We piled all our blankets and pillows together on the ground and laid there, taking in her dulcet tones. Today, we did a mix of Selena's top hits. Classics like Amor Prohibido, No Debes Jugar, and of course, El Chico Del Apartamento 512. Every time, it feels like a supernatural experience. I think I ascended a little!

Today, it's Tom's turn to cook. He made these awesome burgers- vegetarian, of course! These and onion rings pair so well together. We did our usual karaoke dinner set-up: we all take turns singing Selena's songs and rating the performances. Personally, I think I deserve the 10/10!

It's finally Friday! All 3 of us are super tired from work this week, so we decided to have a little boys night in! We played Uno for a while, then got bored and switched to Monopoly. And of course, Selena's amazing voice was our background sound the whole time! #gameswiththeboys

In our new house's shrine- ahem. In our new house's Selena room, we've set up a ceiling mural of the Queen of Tejano Music herself. There are colorful candles all around, creating a beautiful ambience at night. As for during the day, the sunlight shines through the glass wall, illuminating our collection of her vinyl records. We love sitting in here and listening to Selena's songs!

We wanted to go to a Selena concert, but unfortunately that's not possible anymore (may she rest in peace). So we got with our local Selena fan club and set up a concert clips watching day. It's not quite like a real concert, but it's the next best thing!
