This Week's Events
Board Game Club

Board Game Club is going strong! This club is open to 4th - 5th grade students and will meet every Tuesday and Thursday (3:45-5:00).
Board Game Club is a fantastic opportunity for students to engage in fun, strategic games that promote critical thinking, teamwork, and problem-solving skills in a relaxed and enjoyable environment. Please contact Mr. Wilz for more information (iwilz@garfieldre2.net)
Global Play Day
Wednesday, Feb. 5th
Global School Play Day is a fun and exciting event that encourages students to take a break from structured lessons and enjoy unstructured, screen-free play. It’s a day for students to explore creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving through toys, games, and imaginative activities.
To make the most of the day, we encourage students to bring toys or games from home that they’d like to share and enjoy with their classmates. Please note that students are responsible for any items they bring, so we recommend labeling belongings to avoid mix-ups. Additionally, we ask that no technology (like tablets or gaming devices) be brought to ensure the focus remains on creative and cooperative play.
We can’t wait to see the fun and creativity this special day inspires! Thank you for your support in making Global School Play Day a success.
