Health Room Clothing Reminders
Please return clothes that come home
Reminder: If your student comes home with an extra set of clothing. we ask that you please launder all items (except shoes) and return them to the office as soon as possible. We would like to keep our supply of donated items available for any student who may need them. This could include shirt, pants, underwear, socks and shoes.
Health Room Needs
Our Health room could use some clothing donations. Specifically, we could really use some girls and boys K-2 pants (Size 5-7).
Holiday Spirit Days
Christmas Unlimited Donations will be donated on December 17th
King Families,
Every year D11 Food and Nutrition gathers and donates toys to Christmas Unlimited to help our community. This year there is such a high demand for help, we have been asked to see if our school would love to help us out. So, we are asking all of our amazing King families to help collect toys. If you would like to help, please bring a new unwrapped toy to the office by Dec 17th.
D11 Food and Nutrition Services greatly appreciates any help and thank you in advanced!
Chuck E Cheese December 18th
We hope to see you on Dec 18th.
Popcorn Friday - Dec 20
Does your child need winter clothing?
Our PTA has received many donations of coats, etc. Please drop in or call the office to let us know your child needs a coat and we will help them choose one.
Lost and Found Clothing Donations
Please stop by and check the lost and found. All Items will be donated over winter break.
Families, it is typically this time of year that we start to see items collecting in our Lost & Found. With the weather getting cooler, we want to ensure students have their jackets, gloves, and hats! As you can see, there are a number of items needing to find their owner! Please feel free to stop in and check out our Lost & Found. One thing to note, we donate all items that are left in our Lost & Found twice a year! Our first donation of items happens over winter break and then we will donate again at the beginning of summer break!

Help us reach our next Attendance Goal
We're climbing towards reaching our goal of 95% attendance. Our next goal is to spell the word COOKIE by having 95% or higher attendance for six days. When we reach our new goal students will get to enjoy a fresh baked cookie. Our goal is 95% because we understand that there will be absences for illness and emergencies. We are hoping that outside of illnesses and emergencies all students will be attendance.

School Reminders
Buddy Bench in memory of Tristan Rael
A buddy bench is a special place where students can sit if they’re feeling lonely or need a friend. It promotes kindness, inclusion, and friendship among students. Mr. Abbott, husband of Mrs. Abbott, is building a special buddy bench for the King playground and we are dedicating this special bench to Tristan Rael, a student that tragically passed away last year. We want to give our families and community members who are interested an opportunity to help purchase materials for our buddy bench. There is no obligation to donate but if you are interested in donating there is a link below. If we collect more than we need to purchase materials we will use those additional funds to buy additional playground equipment for our students.
How You Can Help:
- Donate: Any amount helps! Every contribution brings us closer to our goal.
- Spread the Word: Share this message with friends and family.
