CCHS Girls Bowling Team vs. CCHS Admin

The CCHS Girls Bowling Team challenged the CCHS Administrators to a match this week and to absolutely nobody's surprise, the girls won. Congratulations girls for being the first-ever CCHS Bowling Team. If any other teams want to challenge the administrators, let us know! (Wrestling and swimming, we might have to pass.)

Semester 1 Exams

Semester 1 Exams will be next, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Please see the CCHS Semester 1 Exam Schedule here. A few reminders about exams below:

• There are no exam exemptions for first semester exams.
• Students with lockout are to report to the cafeteria for these periods in between their exams.
• On Friday, make-up exams will be arranged with the teacher during the afternoon hours.
• Students not needing make-up exams will follow the bell schedule for 7th and 8th periods.
• Students who do not follow school rules and policies for being tardy and out of building passes will face school consequences.

Energy Assistance Program

Need help with the burden of costly energy bills this winter? From Nov. 1, 2024, through March 31, 2025, income-eligible Ohioans can receive one-time assistance with their home energy bill through the Department of Development’s Home Energy Assistance Winter Crisis Program. Schedule an appointment by calling 614-252-2799, Option #4; or use the Online Scheduling System HERE.

Auditions for Disney's Descendants will be the week of Jan. 13th, after school. An auditions workshop will be held on Jan. 6th from 3:30-5:30 in the auditorium. Audition information can be found on Central Crossing Theatre's website, here.

FAFSA

The FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) is used to determine your eligibility for federal student aid, including loans, grants, and work-study. The FAFSA may also determine your eligibility for state and school aid as well.

Here’s What You Need to Know About the 2025-2026 FAFSA:

• Anyone who provides information on your FAFSA form will be considered a contributor.

• Each contributor (student, parent, spouse) is required to provide information on the FAFSA and will need an FSA ID to access and complete their section of the application. You and each contributor should create your FSA IDs at least 3 days in advance before starting the FAFSA form.

• Please make sure you mark these FAFSA workshop dates on your calendar. The form to register for one of the workshops is linked HERE.
