Thank you for all your support for the Baskets for Birthdays Collection and the Student vs. Faculty Basketball Game last week. We are very appreciative of the donations we received and the turnout for the game. None of this would be possible without the dedication of our students and families to help others in need.

6th grade intramural girls' volleyball is scheduled to start on Friday, March 21 (3:00-4:45). Permission forms should be returned to the main office by the end of the day on Thursday, March 20. Students will meet in the gym after school and pick up will take place at 4:45 p.m. in the front of the school. please see the information for 7th and 8th grade PIAA sports at Peirce Middle school. Spring sports are scheduled to begin on Monday, March 10 but each sport will have a specific tryout window. Please see the directions to register through family ID below. You may also access family I.D. by clicking here. If a student played a fall or winter sport, he or she is only required to turn in the recertification of the PIAA physical form. Please see the attached documents below.

The Henderson High School Cheer Team will hold tryouts for the 2025-2026 school year on Tuesday, March 18 and Thursday, March 20 from 4:00-5:30 in the HHS gymnasium. Additional questions may be directed to Lisa Bryan at lbryan@wcasd.k12.pa.us.

The portal has now closed for students and families to select their courses online. Any changes must now be made with a course change form attached below. The 9th-11th grade Course Request window for the 25-26 school year is LIVE Online through Friday, February 21

Rising 9th grade students should select their elective requests online by end of day on Friday, February 21. Starting Monday 2/24 and running through Friday 3/21, all change requests will need to be processed with a course request change form through your grade level counselor (Mrs. Roesener).

Course Waiver Placement Form - to be used to change a recommended level of a course or, after Friday 2/21, process a course request change. Must be returned to your counselor.

The online order for the 2024-2025 Peirce Middle School yearbook is open now through Friday, April 4. Please see the attached flyer with the link and ordering details. The cost of the book is $20.

WHO MAY ENTER?

Any student, grade K-12, who resides and attends school in the West Chester Area School district is eligible. Teachers and staff members who work in the West Chester Area School District are eligible for the teacher category.

WHAT MAY STUDENTS SUBMIT?

Any form or type of poetry, spoem word poem or song on any topic of interest to the writer. A poem may connect to an original art piece or being submitted as a song. Include a photo of the art piece or video recording of the song as a file attachment uploaded to the Schoology site. The file must contain student name, grade, school, teacher’s name, and teacher’s email.

The West Goshen Police Department is organizing a free skating day for elementary and middle school students on Saturday, April 12 at Iceline skating rink. The skating sessions are 11-12:30 and 1-2:30. Please see the attached flyer for the additional details.

Henderson Lacrosse will hold their 2nd annual lacrosse camp July 14-17th for players in grades 3-8 (rising 9th grade). No experience is required!
