Kindergarten Registration
Currently, we have 46 future Wildcats enrolled for the next school year. Our Kindergarten staffing is impacted by the number of students enrolled for the 2024-2025 school year. If you have an incoming Kindergarten student, please use the link below to register them for the 2024-2025 school year.

Mental Health Awareness Month
Did you know that May is Mental Health Awareness Month? Throughout the month, we will be talking about the importance of being healthy not just in our bodies, but also in our minds. During the month students will have many opportunities in their classrooms and throughout the building to participate in activities learning about tools and strategies to support their own mental health and wellbeing. On Tuesday, May 7th, please encourage your child to WEAR GREEN to show support for taking care of their mental health and wellbeing. Click on the Family Self-Care Calendar for some ideas that you can do at home.

From the PTA Board
Dear Wildcat Families-,
It’s Staff Appreciation Week! Thank you to all who answered our call to support our staff with a gift card donation. Our deserving staff will be treated to lunches, treats, and gifts throughout the week with something new planned each day! Important reminder that Tuesday is our May PTA Meeting where we will elect two new PTA Officers: Secretary and Treasurer. Electing new officers is an important part of your PTA Membership, so please try to join us for this special meeting. Votes from paid PTA members will also be counted on Zoom, but we hope you will consider joining us in person to support our new officers! Please also hold the date for Tuesday, June 4, our FINAL PTA Meeting of the year. This is the meeting where we will approve our 2024-25 Budget (another important function of your membership) as well as appreciate our outgoing officers, committee chairs, and event volunteers. If you volunteered with us this year - and especially if you were an event lead - please do attend this meeting so we can thank you. Sandwiches and light fare will be provided. The PTA still needs your help - we aren’t done yet! Help is very much needed with 5th Grade Promotion and Book Fair (signup is coming soon). Please read on and help us finish the school year strong.
Have a Wonderful Wildcat Week!
~ Ashley Zuraf, PTA President
MAY PTA MEETING: TUESDAY, MAY 7
Please join us for our second to last PTA Meeting of the year, where we will elect two new PTA officers! In-person participation is always encouraged and is especially for this meeting. The meeting will take place at 6:30pm in the Media Center. Free childcare will be provided (potty-trained children only) by Global. If you are unable to join us in person, you can attend via Zoom by using this link or entering Meeting ID 868 2700 0850; Passcode 374919.

FUN RUN INCENTIVE DANCE: FRIDAY, MAY 24
Who remembers Fun Run? It seems like so long ago. Thanks to the generosity of our Amazing Wims’ Community, we reached our fundraising goal, which enabled us to offer all the events you enjoyed this school year. As we promised back in the fall, students would be treated to a spring dance to celebrate this achievement. The dance will take place in 45-minute increments with two grade levels at a time, beginning at 9:15 on Friday, May 24th. The dance will feature a DJ (one that you may be all too familiar with!) and a luau theme. We do need a very few adult volunteers for each time slot for general “crowd control.” If you are able to assist, please sign up here.
BOGO BOOK FAIR
Book Fair is back - and it’s Buy One, Get One FREE! This is a great chance to get books in the hands of our students to read over the summer. Book Fair will offer both day and evening shopping hours. Volunteers will be needed to make the fair a success. If you have not volunteered at Book Fair before, come give it a go- it’s a lot of fun to help the kids shop! We are finalizing the schedule for Book Fair and will share the signup form and schedule soon.
DONUTS WITH GROWN-UPS: WEDNESDAY, JUNE 5
Please also save-the-date for Wednesday, June 5 at 8:00am for Donuts with Grown-ups! Students are invited to treat their favorite grown-ups (mom, dad, grandparent, neighbor, aunt, etc!) to donuts, coffee, and juice - and then perhaps they’ll treat their favorite student to an exclusive shopping trip to the Book Fair! Donuts with Grownups is a free event, but pre-registration will be required for planning purposes. Look for the registration form in next week’s Sunday Message.
