We had a blast this week! What an amazing way to wrap up the first quarter of the school year. Between the silly string, trivia contests, the pies in the face, and the epic COLOR BATTLE, it's been a busy week! It was also a very successful week! And we couldn’t have done it without such an incredible group of students, parents, and staff! As of this afternoon we have collected $30, 029 due to your generosity. Donations will be open through Monday, October 14th so it's not too late to help us reach our goal of $35,000.

Falcon Creek Middle School

Based on need, our Counseling & Mental Health team is considering partnering with Judi's House to offer a Grief Support Group semester 2. Judi's House believes that no child should be alone as they navigate the death of a loved one. They use a research-based approach and their shared expertise to support grieving children and families at no cost to them. Irean Sanchez

Irean Sanchez works in our Dean's office. Her career was inspired by the idea of taking risks. The thing she loves most about FCMS is the kids and the funniest thing she has seen students do are the segments on the FCMS news. She would like students to be more aware of the power of their words. She prefers Batman over Superman and her hero is her grandmother who taught her to embrace adventure and be herself. She is motivated by making daily tiny improvements to herself. She enjoys exercise, dancing, and snuggling with her cats. Ms. Sanchez likes to destress by cooking, cleaning, and reading. She chose to work at FCMS because she wanted something different and to her, CORE values make FCMS a better place to work.

Do you want to join your student for lunch? Sigh up HERE for a time slot to volunteer during one of our lunch periods. You will also need to complete the required District application to be an approved volunteer at Falcon Creek.
