November PTO Highlights
November has been a busy month and our PTO has been working hard to make sure all our students are having a great semester! Here is what they were up to this month:
- Budgeting, scheduling, and planning for Winter parties. There is a lot of behind-the-scenes work that goes into pulling these parties off!
- Helped pay for buses for 2nd grade’s field trip to the Chattahoochee Nature Center
- 3rd grade had a successful Science Force lab on Barn Owls.
- Making sure Wildcats are the most stylish with our new Spirit Wear hoodie design!
- Brainstorming ways to increase volunteer engagement - stay tuned to see what ideas they come up!
November Volunteer of the Month: Jane Chen
Jane has been a Wilson Creek parent for six years… and has another five to go! She has a 5th grader, 3rd grader, and twins in 1st grade.
Jane has a lead role in planning our annual Field Day, is room-parent for three classes, and volunteers for Science Force, classroom parties, and more when she can. If you see her around the school, be sure to say “hi!” Thank you, Jane!
Thank You for Your Donation - Crayon Collection Drive
On behalf of our Wilson Creek Student Council, we want to thank you for your generous donation to our Crayon Collection Drive! Your support is making a difference in the lives of many children, helping to provide them with the tools they need to explore their creativity and express themselves. We truly appreciate your kindness and commitment to this cause, and we are grateful for your contribution.

Annual Parent Perception Survey
Please take a few minutes to take the Annual Parent Perception Survey for Wilson Creek ES. The county monitors this data and provides feedback to the individual schools. We need to have a good percentage of parents respond for our data to be valid...and we do want to know what you think. Please note that only a rating of 9 or 10 is considered to be promoting the school. If you love Wilson Creek, please give us a 9 or 10 on the rating scale!
The survey is anonymous and confidential. Please complete one survey per school where you have one or more students enrolled. The survey will remain open from Wednesday, October 16 through Friday, November 22.
It’s not only parents we want to hear from. Our students’ opinions are important too! Students in grades 3-12 will be provided with the opportunity to take the Annual Student Perception Survey between November 11-November 22 during the school day. In our ongoing efforts to remain transparent with parents, please take a moment to review the 3-5 student survey and/or the 6-12 Student Survey.
The Annual Perception Survey is currently available in English, Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese, Hindi, and Punjabi. If you or your family would like to take it in a language that is not listed, please email your child’s principal.
The parent FAQ is now available in:
