Trustworthiness - Acting in a way that inspires confidence and trust; being reliable
Dear Jesus, help me to be faithful in even the little things of each day. In Your eyes nothing is little when done with great love!
- Open Light Media
Dear Parents,
We begin this New Year and new month of January with the virtue of Trustworthiness. As defined by the Education in Virtues Program through Open Light Media, trustworthiness means acting in a way that inspires confidence and trust; being reliable. Being able to trust others is fundamental to having relationships with them. A relationship that is not built on trust has no foundation. This is true for all types of relationships whether personal or professional. Trust takes time to build, but very little time to lose. We have all experienced this in our own lives and likely through the lives of our children as well. We have also probably broken the trust of others in our individual lives. None of us is perfect. January is often a time for resolutions, and I am challenging myself and our school community to embrace the virtue of trustworthiness, to make being more trustworthy our collective resolution. This month our teachers and staff will be focusing on the virtue of trustworthiness in school How wonderful it would be if this focus could be a part of daily home life as well. Will you join us?
God Bless,
Rachel
