Cheetah Chatter
August 8th, 2023
Week of September 13th-19th
Issue #3
“Where faith soars, minds excel, and futures ignite”
Greetings STM-STC Families,
We have made it through our first full week of school! Please make sure you are reading through the entire cheetah chatter for all the important dates and events coming up. On Monday we will be kicking off our first major fundraiser of the year, Chocolate! We have some really solid incentives this year, and all the money raised from the fundraiser goes to fund every day school operations.
Please make sure all families are filling out the family income survey below. It is important we have 100% participation as this survey determines levels of aide, grant funding, and more!
Please see the save the dates(above) for Parent Teacher conferences which will be held October 15th and 16th this year. In order to accommodate all parents, the October 15th conferences will be held via zoom between 4pm-8pm. On October 16th, conferences will take place in person, between 1pm and 8pm. A sign up genius will be forthcoming for both days. Meetings will be in 15min intervals. Middle School parents will sign up for each Middle School teacher they wish to meet with separately. It is first come first in terms of sign up, once a spot is taken it will be marked as so in the sign up genius.
I pray everyone has a blessed and restful weekend! Go Ravens!
Yours in Christ,
Matt Zipp

World's Finest Chocolate Sale
Our official kick-off for our World's Finest Chocolate Sale was on Monday and it was a blast!! Our special guest was none other than the Baltimore Oriole Bird!! The bird helped Mr. Tom Hayes from World's Finest Chocolate hand out candy bar prizes and each class had their picture taken with the Oriole Bird! It was the perfect way to kick-off our first fundraiser of the year!
We are doing AMAZING so far!! Boxes are flying out the door and selling like crazy!! Please keep up the great work! Our goal is to surpass $18,000 which is what we raised last year! At the rate we are going now, we can definitely reach that goal!! Please keep in mind the following:
- Only UNOPENED boxes of candy may be sent back to school. Once the box is opened, you are responsible for paying for the entire box.
- If you would like to request additional boxes, please send in a note complete with your child's name and grade and signed by a parent/guardian to Mrs. Kim Thayer. Please include a contact email or phone number. You may also call the school office or email Mrs. Kim at kthayer@stmstc.org to request more boxes.

Saint Michael the Archangel isn't a saint, but rather he is an angel, and the leader of all angels and of the army of God. This is what the title "Archangel" means, that he is above all the others in rank.
Redemptorist preacher and reformer. Clement preached, built orphanages and schools, and established a vast Redemptorist presence in the city.
