Boo Bash Donations AND Volunteers
Boo Bash Fall Festival is just one week away (Thursday, October 24)! We are looking forward to celebrating... but need the school community's help to make the magic happen!
Thank you to those who have signed up to donate supplies! We are grateful. We are also still looking for LOTS of items. Please take a look at the signup pages here (link: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/60B0A4BA5A92EA46-52020805-boobash ), and consider contributing. Donations may be delivered to the school office next week, before Thursday.
We are also ready for volunteers for the event - scroll through all the fun options here(link: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/60B0A4BA5A92EA46-52249316-boobash ). Note: 5th graders will sign up separately to act in the Haunted House.
Thank you! We couldn't do this without you!

A Few Tips for Daylight Savings' End
During the rest of this week, set the alarm to get up 15 minutes earlier. If you wake up at 6:00am, set the alarm for 5:45am. Likewise move your child's bedtime 15 minutes earlier. Have a bedtime conversation and explain how you will get ready for the earlier day over the next 3 weeks, so it isn't so hard later.
Set the alarm 15 more minutes early during the week of October 21-25. Last week you woke up at 5:45am. This week it will be 5:30am. Again move the bedtime 15 minutes earlier.
Finally the week of October 28-November 1, follow the same steps. This time get up at 5:15am and move the bedtime 15 minutes earlier.
You will be all set for the change of bedtime and awakening on Monday, November 4. Hopefully no crabby kids or grumpy adults!
