Principal's Message
Our 2nd quarter of school is off to a great start!! We have had a fabulous first week back from Fall Break. We loved welcoming our students back and welcoming back new students to in-person learning! Students have gotten back into routines and procedures and are happy to be at school!
Parent/Teacher Conferences were held this past Thursday, and the turnout was amazing!! I want to extend a big thank you to all of our parents and caregivers for connecting with teachers by participating in these important conferences. These meetings are so very important and help to strengthen the realtionships between teachers, students, and families! Our teachers appreciated having time with you to discuss student successes, needs, and much more! Please do not hesitate to reach out to school staff at any time if you have questions or needs! We are here for you and want to continue to keep connections between home and school open! Thank you, again, for your time and participation!!
Finally as we enter cold and flu season, it is so very important to continue to work with your children on health and safety at school. All students are required to wear face masks during the school day (except when actively eating lunch). We appreciate your efforts to help students understand the importance of this for their safety and the safety of others! Thank you for your support with these important protocols and procedures!
As always, please don't hesitate to reach out if you need anything! Thank you for your support of Lowell! Take care! Be safe!
Mrs. Griffin
BUS PARKING CHANGES AT LOWELL -- PLEASE READ
Lowell buses will be parking in front of the school building across from Door 1 ~ our main entrance. Most buses with park along the grass side of our drive with a few buses parking along the curb. As a result, there will be no access to the front drive during morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up.
There will be no parking along the front of the building and no entry to the front drive from 7:40am - 8:40am and again from 2:40pm - 3:20pm every day. Please be mindful of this if you are coming to Lowell during these hours.
If you are dropping off your student in the morning, you will need to access our car rider line off of Raymond Street on the south side of the building (see car rider map below). If students are arriving late or need to leave early, please park in the lot on the south side of the building and walk to door 1.
It is important for our front lane to be cleared during these times to ensure the safety of all of our students and staff. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding!

Attendance for Virtual Students -- Attendance App
K-4
All virtual students are now required to log-in to Canvas to validate their attendance every day of school. This includes direct instruction days, application days, and academic enrichment days. Please help your student log-in and submit their attendance each day.
1. Open the app called “V attendance” on your student’s iPad. It is black with a gold check mark.
2. Click the red button that says “Log into Google” to sign into the student’s google account. This is the same email and password that students use to log into Clever. Not sure about what this login information is? Email me!
3. You should now be logged into Canvas. Click on the box that says “Period 1”. It is outlined in yellow.
4. It will come up with a question about whether or not your student is attending that day. Click yes.
5. Click submit. You did it!
You may also continue to login through the Canvas app if it has been working for you. Please reach out with any questions! Thanks!

Covid Screening & Quarantine Information
CAR RIDER INFORMATION
Students will only be released on the sidewalk side/passenger side of the vehicle. Please make sure your child is sitting on that side of your vehicle. When the sidewalk is cleared of students, cars will be released by staff to exit back out onto Raymond Street. PLEASE DO NOT MOVE YOUR CAR UNTIL STAFF INDICATES IT IS SAFE TO MOVE. DO NOT GET OUT OF THE CAR RIDER LINE TO MANUVEUR YOUR CAR AROUND OTHER CARS. STAY IN LINE AND FOLLOW THE CAR IN FRONT OF YOU SO WE CAN EXIT SAFELY. When the next row of cars are lined up along the sidewalk and are stopped and in park, staff will release the next group of students into the building.
OUR PRIORITY IS TO KEEP STUDENTS AND STAFF SAFE! PLEASE MAKE SURE TO FOLLOW THESE PROCEDURES AND TO FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS OF THE LOWELL STAFF. WE APPRECIATE YOUR COOPERATION.
Please make sure your child has backpack/supplies ready and that good-byes are said before it's time to exit the car. We will not have time to retrieve items or have prolonged good-byes in the morning. We appreciate your help with this!!
Review the map below to see the entry/exit location and the path for the car rider line. We appreciate your patience as we all learn this new system.
SMOKE-FREE CAMPUS
Please remember that our Lowell Campus is a smoke-free campus. There is no smoking allowed anywhere on Lowell grounds. This includes smoking in your cars while on the Lowell Campus.
