- The JV Girls Volleyball team wrapped up their season on Thursday night with a 3 set win over the Eastridge Lancers. They finish the season with an incredibly impressive record of 13 wins and 2 losses. The story of the night though, was 8th grade beast Lauren S. who was finding kill after kill easier than it is for John B to find lost pirate treasure. Her unbreakable spirit and extremely coachable attitude was a driving force for the team's success this year.
- Kenyatta and Aria broke up the defense more times than Sarah Cameron and John B have broken up and Anna M's overall play was wilder than Rafe after a run in with the Pogues. Emily A's passing and remarkable court coverage had us thinking JJ was out there on his dirt bike doing laps! The girls won their pool in the Victor Tournament over the weekend after going 5 and 1 and finished in the top 8 out of 32 teams. Overall, a fantastic season for these Warrior Girls. Tell them congrats when you see them!

- JV Girls volleyball showed no mercy last night and swept the Mercy Monarchs in 3 sets. They improved to 12 and 2 on the season with one final match left tonight at Schroeder at 6pm and the Victor tournament on Saturday. 7th grader Ali B. had herself a game, ripping sound-barrier breaking hits that obliterated the defense. 8th grade libero Emily A. flexed on them with effortless passing and picture-perfect defense. Meanwhile, at the net Kenyatta was racking up sky miles as she took flight delivering kill after kill. Aria kept the net on lock with blocks and kills, and 8th grade setter Anna M. lead the team with smart playmaking and a clever deep shot to the back corner that had even Houdini wondering how she did it! Great job, girls! One more to go!
