PSAT
The Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT®) is structured similarly to the SAT®, has the same sections and timing, and measures the same Reading and Writing and Math skills students learn in the classroom—the knowledge and skills your child needs to succeed in college and career. Please see the attachment for the Student Guide.
The PSAT will be given on October 10th this year. All 10th Graders and those 11th grade students who signed up will be taking the test. The test will be done digitally through an app called Bluebook. For those that are familiar with the PSAT, the digital test is more streamlined and shorter. Students should bring a calculator if they prefer to use their own vs the online version in the test.

"Paw"sitive Pal of the Week!
We are excited to announce this week's Pawsitive Pal winner: Melissa Mahoney-Anderson, our wonderful new science teacher!
Ms. Mahoney-Anderson has brought an incredible amount of energy, passion and enthusiasm to our school. Whether it’s between classes or in the hallways, you can often find her engaging with students, both those in her classes and others she simply wants to meet. So when she says Hi, say Hi back! Her passion for science is evident, and she’s already made a big impact, assisting with our transition to STEEL standards. She also started a Plant Club!
Congratulations, Ms. Mahoney-Anderson, and thank you for all your hard work and dedication! Keep up the amazing work!
