Trollwood Weekly - July 19 - Issue 7
IN THE KNOW
What's Happening at Trollwood?
After months of anticipation, The Addams Family opened this week! All of the hard work everyone has put into this show is paying off as they are finally able to share this exciting production with audiences! Great job to everybody involved in making this show possible, your hard work and dedication is apparent in each performance!
The first three performances have been fantastic, leaving audiences thrilled at the spectacle, roaring at the jokes, and humming the catchy tunes long after the final bow. There are two more opportunities to catch a performance this week, Friday and Saturday, plus five more performances next week, Tuesday through Saturday.
This has been a busy week here at Trollwood, with many programs running simultaneously. In addition to opening the Mainstage Musical, we have programs spread all across Fargo-Moorhead. We have three classes of ArtSpark students Grades K-2, 1-3, and 3-4 right here at Trollwood. The Trollwood Players kicked off their first week of rehearsals for their play, Fix it in Post at Fargo South High School. Trollwood Children's Theatre held its first week of rehearsals for their musical, Roald Dahl's Willy Wonka Kids at Discovery Middle School. And Totally Trollwood Musical held its second week of rehearsals for Roald Dahl's Matilda Jr. at Fargo North High School. We are thrilled to have so many students learning and growing in these fun and exciting performance opportunities!

They polished up every aspect of the show and pulled it together into a brilliant performance to share with audiences. There are two more performances this week, Friday and Saturday, as well as next week Tuesday through Saturday. Check out pictures from dress rehearsal below.
MAINSTAGE MUSICAL 2024
The Addams Family
The Addams Family, a comical feast that embraces the wackiness in every family, features an original story and it’s every father’s nightmare: Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family – a man her parents have never met. And if that wasn’t upsetting enough, Wednesday confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother. Now, Gomez Addams must do something he’s never done before – keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia. Everything will change for the whole family on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesday’s “normal” boyfriend and his parents.

Street Fair Performance
When you're an Addams; you sing downtown at the street fair! Members of the cast of The Addams Family performed at Broadway Square at the Downtown Fargo Street Fair on Thursday to promote their upcoming performances. They dazzled an audience of street fair patrons with a performance of the song, "When You're an Addams."
