Just a reminder that if you are having lunch with your student you are not allowed to bring food for other students. Only your student. This is due to all of the food allergies that we have in the building. You will also only be able to sit with your student. We will ask all other students to return to their classroom table. Please enjoy this special time with your student. Thank you for your understanding.

We do not release students between the time of 3:00 and 3:25. If you need to pick up your student early please be at the school prior to 3:00. Remember you can call the Front Office when you are on your way to the school so that we can have your student ready at the office. This is for your safety due to buses pulling into the front drive for end of the day dismissal.

Discussion Prompt: How can you use your talents and passion to listen to your conscience and help someone in need? For example, you can help someone in your family, like a sibling, organize their room because you are really good at organizing and it’s a passion of yours, or something you love to do, and it would help someone else. Another example is in your classroom. Maybe you are really good at math and it’s something you love to do, your passion, and you see someone else in your classroom that is struggling. You could help them with their math. What ideas do you have?

Please know that you will be asked to show your picture id everytime you enter the building. This is a District Policy for the safety of our students. If you are going anywhere in the building other than the office we will have to scan your id in our Raptor System and give you a visitor sticker.

Regular attendance is vital to the ongoing continuity of the educational program. Make-up work never compensates for school attendance. We encourage consistent school attendance; however, please do not send your child to school if he/she is not feeling well. Please call our attendance secretary at (719)391-3496 to report an absence by 9:00 am. If we have not heard from you by 9:30 we will be calling to check on the reason of your student not being in school.

Please note that you can call day or night and leave a message letting us know if your student will not be attending school.
