  • The International Day of Peace (Peace Day) is observed around the world each year on September 21st.
  • Established in 1981 by unanimous United Nations resolution, Peace Day provides a globally shared date for all humanity to commit to Peace above all differences and to contribute to building a Culture of Peace.
  • This year is particularly significant: It is the 20th Anniversary of the UN Resolution on the Programme of Action on a Culture of Peace.

  • Hispanic Heritage Month started on September 15 and will run through October 15.




  • Hispanic Heritage Month celebrates some of the Hispanic contributions to the United States history, as well as notable Hispanics and Latinos.

Character Star Assembly

We will celebrate our elementary Character Stars of the month during the event that have shown the mantra, “The time is always right for me to do what is right, as well as our MYP students that embody that, "When people talk, I listen completely,” as a communicator. Invited families only will be in attendance.
