Principal Message

Hello Seahawks! We are striving to keep our lessons student-centered and increase our student's attendance and engagement. We rewarded our 4th graders, who had a 96% attendance rate for the month of September, with a Bounce House Gym! Our Cross Country regional finalist Dana Roberts left to compete in the State race and we are hoping that she will return as our State Champion. This week the Bethel Family Clinic will be at the school to complete sport physicals. All students must have an updated sport physical to be eligible to participate in sports. In addition, some of our seniors will be traveling to the University of Alaska Fairbanks and Alaska Pacific University on the College Camp Tour. Also in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month our students will be learning and participating in activities to teach them about the Latino culture.


We have only two weeks left before the end of the first quarter and we want to complete the first quarter with excellence. Therefore, it is imperative for all students to come to school on time and be ready to learn. As always, my door is open and our team welcomes your input as we continue to SOAR to Success !
