If you need to get a message to your student about changes in Pick-Up, please call the school at 402-715-8280 before 3:00pm and before 2:00pm on Wednesdays.

Greetings!

1. WOW what a great turnout and a great night for Bingo for Books! Thank you so much to all who volunteered their time as well as all who attended!

2. The morning drive thru lane is getting a bit backed up. This is natural this time of year as many of our students who walk now get rides, understandable with the cold! Please keep in mind that if you in the lane that is closest to the school for drop off, you do not need to wait until the crosswalk for the students to exit the car. Please full as far forward as possible to drop off your students, and you are welcome to drop them off prior to the crosswalk as well! This is only for the lane closest to the school. Please do pull to the crosswalk if you are in the middle lane. Thank you!

3. We hope you are enjoying "Wishtree"! It's been so fun to see and hear how engaged the children are in the story!

4. Please be sure to label your childrens' outer wear with their names, we are accumulating a lot of winter gear in our lost and found. We also have a large number of hoodies! Please ask your children to check the lost and found if you are missing a hoodie!

If you have an incoming kindergartener or new student entering Millard Public Schools for the 2025-26 school year, please enroll your student beginning February 1, 2025 at www.mpsomaha.org. By completing your child's enrollment as soon as possible you help us place students sooner and communicate with your family in a timely way. Please note, the new student enrollment window is for NEW STUDENTS ONLY! Existing student updates will occur between June 9 and July 31, 2025.

The PTO is a great way to meet other parents, find out about PTO sponsored events and volunteer on several event committees. By joining and/or being a volunteer, you are working with other parents and teachers/staff members, to help enrich the educational experience for all students.

The first day of school for the. 2024-2025 school year will be Thursday, August 8th.

Everyone is welcome on each Don & Millie's Night, located at 144th & Harrison streets. Art work will be displayed on the night for that grade level.

Here are the dates for your planning:

February 5th is for 4th Grade

March 5th is for 5th Grade

April 2nd is for KG, 1st and 2nd

May 7th is for 3rd, 4th and 5th.

Paper copies will come home with students on January 31st, in Friday Folders.

You can submit your entry online with the QR code below. Or, you can contact the front office for a paper copy and submit your recipe that way. The deadline to submit recipes is January 31st.
