Hello Trojan Nation!
Meet your new superintendent Zach Wigle: Listen, Learn and Serve
Excited and Ready
Good afternoon Fairfield families!
My name is Zach Wigle and my family (Julie, Mallory and Brady) and I are just getting settled in our new home. I will try to keep this brief as I know you are all on summer break, but we are excited to join the Trojan family. We have spent the last 8 years in Solon, Iowa and are excited to be back in SE Iowa. As a new superintendent I will have a lot to learn, but please know I am dedicated to serving this community in the best way possible. Below are a few goals that have been set for the the first 100 days on the job. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you need anything! My email is zach.wigle@fairfieldsfuture.org.
1. Get to know as many stakeholders as possible within the first few months on the job. It’s all about relationships!
2. Gain a thorough understanding of the people, systems, institutional practices
and policies that make the Fairfield Community School District what it is.
3. Understand the context for, and culture of teaching and learning in all four buildings.
4. Collaboratively analyze the current learning goals, and achievement data to understand student trends and help initiate any steps for growth through sound professional development practices.
5. Create a renewed vision for the district by the beginning of the 2025-2026 school year.
