The Counseling Office is an integral part of school life -- but families aren't necessarily in the know. Here are a couple of ways for you to stay connected to what's happening in the counseling office!
1. Our monthly newsletter is a brief way to let you know what's going on each month.
2. SCOIR- students can sign up to attend college information sessions at the high school, seniors can request transcripts, and weekly emails from the college counseling staff.
3. CANVAS is a way for you to review forms, resources, documents, or schedule an appointment.
4. We're on Instagram! Follow us @ WYO_counselors
5. The Principal's "Wyoming Weekly" will include news and information from the counseling staff each week.
6. Set up an appointment (see below) to secure a time with your counselor(s)

Our counseling office would like you to focus on making wellness a priority in your life. Wellness is defined as, "the active pursuit of activities, choices, and lifestyles that lead to a state of holistic health". In other words, it's active - not passive. As school counselors, we strive to help you develop the mindset, habits and behaviors that will lead to a lifestyle of wellness inside and outside of the classroom.
Being smart and working hard isn't all it takes to become a successful student. Sometimes students need help learning how to manage their time, get organized, advocate for themselves, or stay engaged. Your school counelors are able to assist students with useful stragetegies they can implement in any classroom to help them experience success.
