Mobile Medical and Dental Updates:
The Family Health Center provides all KPS schools with mobile medical and dental units visits during the year. These visits cover both medical (annual well-child visits, immunizations, and care for chronic conditions like asthma) and dental preventive care (twice-yearly dental cleanings, exams, and sealants). Parkwood-Upjohn's visit has been rescheduled to Wednesday, April 9. We currently have only 12 students signed up for medical and 7 for dental. It would be a shame for them to cancel due to low enrollment. To register your child electronically please click the following link: ENGLISH & SPANISH: https://form.jotform.com/231327122384146. If your child currently does NOT have health insurance, then students cannot be seen. To enroll for MI Bridges, click: Medicaid. If you prefer a paper registration form, please e-mail Marie Geiken-Perez with Communities in Schools at geikenperezmc@kalamazoopublicschools.net." Each family that successfully enrolls for the Family Health Center's mobile units will be entered into a drawing for a $25 Meijer gift card!
