Boerne Middle School North vs. Boerne Middle School South – Girls Soccer Recap

The Boerne Middle School North Greyhounds traveled across town to take on their rivals, the Boerne Middle School South Chargers, in an exciting night of girls soccer.
7th Grade Game:
The 7th grade Greyhounds edged out the Chargers in a thrilling match that came down to the final minutes. Regan Barsetti opened the scoring in the first half with a well-placed shot, giving the Greyhounds an early lead. The Chargers responded with a goal of their own, tying the game and setting up a tense second half. With the clock winding down, Hallie Jonas stepped up and delivered the game-winner, securing a 2-1 victory for North. The team showed tremendous improvement and continues to grow stronger with each game.
8th Grade Game:
The 8th grade matchup was another hard-fought battle, ending in a 1-1 draw for the second time this season. Both teams showed outstanding grit and determination, with strong defensive efforts and moments of creative attacking play. It was a great game that showcased the competitive spirit and resilience of both squads.
Next Up:
Both Greyhound teams hit the road again next Thursday, April 17th, traveling to Kerrville to take on Hal Peterson Middle School. The 7th grade game will kick off at 5:00 PM, followed by the 8th grade at 6:15 PM. Come out and support your Greyhounds!
STAAR Prep is underway, but students can still access the library for books!
Encourage your student to checkout a book before STAAR testing in a couple of weeks! The library is busy with classes reviewing, but still open for student book checkouts!
