Dear BCS Community:
Welcome to BCS Insider! This monthly e-newsletter will include district highlights, progress updates, feature stories, upcoming events, and more. This is a great way to stay informed and engaged in what's going on around our school district.
As my first month concludes, I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for the warm welcome I received as your new superintendent. The past four weeks have been a whirlwind of activity, filled with excitement and the anticipation of the incredible journey we are embarking on together. I've had the pleasure of meeting many administrators, support staff, educators, parents, community members, and even some students as you'll see highlighted below. I look forward to meeting many more in the days ahead!
I am truly inspired by the dedication I have seen so far. It is clear that we have a team of educators who are passionate about nurturing each student’s potential, and our entire staff is united in providing the necessary support to help them achieve their goals.
I am excited about the opportunities that lie ahead and confident in our collective ability to make a positive impact. You play a crucial role in this partnership—let us continue to support one another, celebrate our successes, and remain focused on our shared mission of educating and empowering our students.
Thank you once again for your warm welcome, I invite you to learn more about my entry plan here.
Yours in education,
Ryan S. Saxe

Another Successful Summer SOLE!
Another successful Summer SOLE (Summer of Learning and Engagement) wrapped up this month where we spent several weeks keeping the minds of our students sharp and enthusiastic about learning! This year's focus English Language Arts using Scholastic Literature Camp and mathematics with Math for Love, play-based rigorous curriculum.
The goal of Summer SOLE is to maintain skills for next school year to avoid the "summer slide" with learning, and encourages success with small class sizes.
