Principal's Message
At Oakwood Elementary School, we are Respectful 🤝, Responsible 👍, and Safe 👷
This week, I wanted to share some ways that YOU, our parents, have already demonstrated these qualities that we love to see in our students. These are all things that our Oakwood parents have done this year that have led our students by example:
- Donated supplies to classrooms
- Donated supplies to the school
- Picked up trash around the front of campus
- Attended our Parent Café on Mondays at 8:30
- Reported unsafe behaviors in the neighborhood
- Helped our 5th and 6th grader raise money for Science Camp
As your principal, I am so proud of you all! Our community is helping to take care of and support our students every day.
Thank you for modelling for our students what it means to be RESPECTFUL 🤝, RESPONSIBLE 👍, and SAFE 👷. Together, we can partner to help to develop our students to be successful citizens in the world.

Attention Oakwood Families! We need your help!
Many students are being dropped off at the east gate 15-20 minutes before gates open at 7:30. Students are not allowed on campus until 7:30. Please help us keep our students safe by not sending them to school and/or dropping them off before this time. Staff are not available for supervision until 7:30. We thank you advance for your understanding.

Communication with the School
If you have needs or support related to what's going on in the classroom, the teacher is always your first point of contact! They should be communicating with you early and often throughout the year.
If you have needs or support related to the school, you are always encouraged to reach out to the office, Mr. Hoffman, or myself. We want to you to know that our door is open, and it is so important to us that we partner with you at home
News from the Lodi Unified School District
We are excited to announce that this year, families are able to verify their child's elementary school teacher and secondary school class schedule through our online data confirmation process. As of July 19, 2024, parents who have completed the online data confirmation will be able to access this information. We encourage all parents to complete the online data confirmation process by following the instructions in the flyer below.
This important step will allow you to update your child's emergency contact info while also helping to support our school site with additional funding!
