Elgin High Events Middle School Expectations
Elgin High School student/athletes enjoy positive support from their fellow students, parents and the community. We continue to welcome elementary and middle school students to the high school games, and we want to create the best possible atmosphere for their safety.
In an effort to make Elgin High School contests enjoyable and safe for all spectators, the following guidelines for students in attendance are used at all home football games:
All students under high school age must be accompanied and supervised by a parent or guardian.
Students must have their IDs for entrance into the game.
No backpacks, noisemakers, outside food or beverages.
Students are not permitted to bring footballs, soccer balls, etc. to games. Balls will be confiscated at the gate or by administration if brought to stadium.
No re-entry will be enforced.
Positive cheers only! The use of profanity, taunting, including racial remarks of any kind, and throwing objects is PROHIBITED!
Spectators are NOT allowed inside the fenced area and must remain in the stands.
Please note, the student code of conduct for school extends to events at Elgin High School. Students running, throwing objects, using profanity, fighting, or causing other disruptions will be dismissed and and entry into future Elgin High School events could be withheld.
We appreciate your help with the implementation of these expectations and rules to ensure student safety while giving our fans the opportunity to completely enjoy the game. Thank you for supporting Elgin High School athletics.
