Afterschool Registration
Days Park Afterschool Registration
Registration for Boys & Girls Afterschool programming will take place at the Days Park Campus at 40 Days Park on Thursday, August 15 from 3 to 6 pm. Anyone interested in participating is encouraged to attend.
There will be additional opportunities to register your student if you aren’t able to attend this initial sign up date.
Hertel Afterschool Registration
Both BestSelf and the Boys and Girls Club will have staff at 665 Hertel on Monday, August 19, 2024 from 3 to 6 pm to answer any of your questions and to initiate registration for both programs.

SCHOOL DISMISSAL MANAGER (SDM)
School Dismissal Manager (SDM) is an important tool for all EVCS families, as it is how you inform the school about dismissal plans, absences, late arrivals, and more.
You will receive an email later on in August about logging into SDM. You are required to set your child's dismissal prior to the first day of school.

24-25 Transportation Updates
Transportation Applications Submitted After August 9
Any transportation applications submitted after August 9 (last Friday), will not become active until September 9.
Transportation Application
Complete the transportation application only if your student will be taking the bus for the first time OR if there is a change in their transportation route.
If there is a change in their transportation route, please make sure to complete a Change of Address Form and provide a new proof of residency.
Letter from BPS
You should be receiving a letter from Buffalo Public Schools regarding your child’s bus route and number by the second week of August. If you do do not receive a letter by mid-August, please call the BPS Transportation Hotline at (716) 816-4895.
RSVP to Supply Drop-Off
Join EVCS for our annual Supply Drop-Off
Event is August 29 and runs from 3 to 6 pm
Drop-off your school supplies before the start of the school year, meet teachers, and dine on hot dogs, veggie dogs, salad, and ice pops!
Learn more and confirm your attendance at the RSVP form.
Supply Drop-Off is open to both newly enrolled and returning EVCS students and guardians.
Welcome to Kindergarten Survey
Please Complete Survey Before August 26
EVCS kindly requests that incoming Kindergarten families take a few minutes to provide us with some essential information by completing the Welcome to Kindergarten Survey.
Your responses will help us in better understanding your child's needs and ensure a smooth transition into Kindergarten.

Days Park Instrument Choice & Information Packet
Make sure to fill out the Days Park Instrument Choice Form if your student is NEW to EVCS and starting 5th-8th grade at Days Park in the fall.
Make sure to also review the Days Park Instrumental Music Packet, which includes important information regarding your student's music education and resources for you to purchase or rent instruments.

Nurses' Notes
Reminders from the Health Office
Make sure your student has an updated physical and immunizations prior to the start of the school year! Please check with your student's pediatrician and book your physicals and appointments early to have them completed before the start of the school year.
List of health paperwork:
- Consent to Share Medical Information Form (Newly Enrolled Students Only)
- Health Exam Form
- Dental Health Form
- Vaccination Records (request a print out from your child’s doctor)
Students newly enrolled must submit health paperwork through SchoolMint. Returning students can have health paperwork faxed to the confidential nurse line for their campus.
