A NOTE FROM MRS. RAWLINS
Dear Sloan Creek Families,
This week we had the pleasure of honoring our exceptional Administrative Professionals: Julie Boardman, Jeanette Mervicker, and Karen Miller. Please take a moment to thank them for the tremendous impact they have on our school. They are truly the heart of Sloan Creek!
Tomorrow we will celebrate the completion of STAAR testing with a "hats off to hard work" day! Students and staff are encouraged to wear hats to school. As always, hats should be school appropriate and not create a distraction to the learning environment (no helmets or hoodies, please).
Reminders & Updates:
- Tomorrow is the final Coffee with the Principals of the year - hope to see you there!
- Spring Orchestra Party tomorrow 5:00-6:30
- New End-of-Year Celebrate Sloan dates below!
As always, please reach out with any concerns or celebrations. We love hearing from you!
Sloan Creek PROUD.
❤️🐆 Megan Rawlins

7TH GRADE ATHLETICS @ WSMS
Are you thinking of or planning on being involved in athletics as a seventh grader at Willow Springs? There are a few things that need to be accomplished for that to take place. One of which is mandatory UIL baseline concussion testing. All students who participate in a UIL governed activity must complete a baseline concussion test before they are allowed to participate. In Lovejoy we use Sway Medical to conduct this test. Sway is an app that tests basic tasks such as reaction time, memory, and balance. More information can be found using the links below.
Who: Incoming 7th graders interested in athletics
When: May 6th-9th during your PE class periods
What they will need: If you have a phone, please come with the Sway Medical App already downloaded. We will have Ipads with the app for those who do not have a phone with them.

ATTENDANCE MATTERS
