Sophia Peter

Sophia Peter is a senior who has been going to Dryden since her preschool year. Sophia is in volleyball, basketball, track, student council, and NHS. Sophia like to sleep, go to work, and hang out with friends in her free time. Her favorite thing about Dryden is the one-on-one aspect of the teachers. After high school, Sophia is planning to attend Trine University to study physical therapy, and she will be running for their track team.
Lily Finnigan

Lily Finnigan is a senior at Dryden High School. Lily has been going to Dryden for 10 years. She is involved in Cross Country, Volleyball, Bowling, Track and Field, Student Council, NHS, Newspaper, and Yearbook. Outside of school, Lily likes to sleep and in her free time, she does college work. Her favorite thing about si the early college program, and Lily is thankful for earning her associate's degree before graduating from high school. Lily’s plans for after high school are to go to Oakland University to get her Bachelor’s and Master’s in Exercise Science and then transfer to Life University in Georgia to become a chiropractor.

Junior High Track

At the NCTL Leagues Meet in Deckerville, in the 70-meter dash - Jason Kaiser (10.39) and Josiah Matson (9.96). In the 1 mile Levi Fitchett ran 5:12 (PR) and Jaycen Roberts ran 6:08. Again, in the 2-mile Levi Fitchett ran 12:05 and Jaycen Roberts ran 13:36 (PR). Kieran Schultz (10.15), Jakob Adams (10.82 - PR), and Ryan Peter (12.04 - PR) all ran the 55-meter hurdles. Jakob Adams ran the 200 hurdles with a time of (38.00). Jason Kaiser, Joshua Adams, Josiah Matson, and Kieran Schultz all ran the 4x1 with a time of (58.22). In field events, Jakob Adams jumped (13 ft) and Ryan Peter jumped (11 ft and 6 inches, PR). For shot put, Joshua Adams threw (27 ft and 3.5 inches).
At the NCTL Leagues Meet in Deckerville, in the 70-meter dash- Bella Blatt (10.31), Elaina Yatros (12.17), Aubrey Joseph (14.38), Hailee Soule (13.44), Willow DuBuis (14.23). In the 100 dash- Bella Blatt (14.08), Elaina Yatros (16.83 PR), Maddie Gammon (15.04) and Aubrey Joseph (20.16). For the 200 meter dash the girls did great. Lilyana Lasher ran 35.91 and Abby Tonkoshkur ran 34.82. Ella Gustner (1:22.01-PR), Lilyana Lasher (1:26.38-PR) and Molly Wilkey (1:31.24). Only Claire Wright and Ellie Fitchett ran the 800 meter, but they still both did well. Claire ran 3:09.98 and Ellie ran a PR of 3:34.03. Ella Gustner (6:16.98) and Ellie Fitchett (PR - 7:39.27) for the 1 mile. Claire Wright was the only girl who ran the 2 mile, she PR with a time of 14:17.94. 55 meter hurdlers - Elayna Handley (PR - 12.85) and Molly Wilkey (12.67). Elayna Handley (47.99) also ran the 200 meter hurdles. For the relay teams, the 4x1 team got first with a time of 59.26 -Maddie Gammon, Bella Blatt, Karley Phillips, and Makayla Mater. The 4x2 team got 5 ( 2:15) - Lilyana Lasher, Makayla Mater, Karley Phillips, and Abby Tonkoshkur. Abby Tonkoshkur, Maddie Gammon, Karley Phillips, and Makayla Mater ran the 4x4 ( 5:13.38) with a place of 2. Finally, the 4x8 team got a time of 12:49.32 - Molly Wilkey, Claire Wright, Ellie Fitchett, and Ella Gustner- placed 2. For field events - Shot put, Lillian Martin (20 feet and 10.75 inches), Hailee Soule (18 feet and 11.25 inches) and Aubrey Joseph (19 feet and 11.5 inches). Long Jump - Elaina Yatros ( 8 feet and 11 inches) and Hailee Soule ( 8 feet and 8.5 inches).
