Five Most Holy Trinity. Students entered the Knights of Columbus. Essay Contest in October. The theme was "How Can the Catholic Church Evangelize in the Digital Age." Our five contestants all took honors, and all advanced to the city competition which will be held this month.

Our first place winners were Andre Silva in eighth grade and Arissa Marin in sixth grade. Andre and Arissa both received a certificate and a $50 cash prize.

Our runner ups were Lennon Lorilla and Ean Valenciano in eighth grade, and Iliana Nieto in sixth grade. Lennon, Ean and Iliana also received certificates and a $10 cash prize. Congratulations to all our winners; everyone here at Most Holy Trinity is very proud of you!

We are going to have a different format for our Christmas posada this year. Our classes have paired up and each group will have their own posada, which will be performed at our Christmas Craft Fair on December 9th and 10th. This is the schedule for the event

• Saturday, December 9th after 5:00 PM mass- Grades 2,3,4

• Sunday December 10th, after 8:00 AM Mass- 1st and 5th grade

• Sunday, December 10th 10:00 AM- Pre-K and 8th

• Sunday December 10th, after 10:00 AM Mass- 3K and 7th grade

• Sunday December 10th, after 12:00 PM Mass- Kindergarten and 6th grade

We want our children who are performing after masses to go to that mass in costume. We will begin the posada outside in front of the church after mass. The posada will end in Father Tom Hall. Your child’s teacher will provide more information as the time grows closer. We look forward to this event, we hope you enjoy it!

Este año vamos a tener un formato diferente para nuestra posada navideña. Nuestras clases se han emparejado y cada grupo tendrá su propia posada, la cual se presentará en nuestra Feria de Artesanía Navideña los días 9 y 10 de diciembre. Este es el cronograma del evento.

• Sábado 9 de diciembre después de la misa de las 5:00 p.m. - Grados 2,3,4
• Domingo 10 de diciembre, después de la misa de 8:00 a. m. - 1.° y 5.° grado
• Domingo 10 de diciembre 10:00 AM- Pre-K y 8vo
• Domingo 10 de diciembre, después de la Misa de las 10:00 a.m. - 3K y 7mo grado
• Domingo 10 de diciembre, después de la misa de las 12:00 p.m. - Kindergarten y 6to grado

Our 8th grade students and parents will also be hosting our Christmas Craft Fair.

• We have close to 20 vendors who will be set up in Father Tom Hall selling different items.
• Our eighth grade class will be selling menudo on Sunday. We will also be selling smoked turkey legs. All proceeds from food sale will go towards the 8th grades gift to the school.

Also, as part of this event our Room Parents will be raffling holiday gift baskets with different themes. They will be contacting you for donation of a small gift to include in a basket. Please be as generous as your means allow. Tickets will go on sale the week of December 4th

• Tenemos cerca de 20 vendedores que se instalarán en Father Tom Hall vendiendo diferentes artículos.
• Nuestra clase de octavo grado venderá menudo el domingo. También venderemos muslos de pavo ahumados. Todos los ingresos de la venta de alimentos se destinarán a la donación de octavo grado a la escuela.

We will have a special “Baby Jesus Shower” Tuesday December 19th to benefit Guiding Star Crisis Pregnancy Center here in El Paso. We are collecting items for newborns, including diapers, blankets, bottles, pacifiers, clothes and other items that newborns need. These items will be donated to guiding star, who provides free care to women experiencing crisis pregnancies. Everyone who donates will be allowed to wear free dress pass on this day. Please be as generous as your means allow, thank you!

• ¡Vamos, cruzados! Ahora nos estamos registrando para el baloncesto. Los estudiantes de cuarto a octavo grado son elegibles para jugar. La tarifa del equipo es de $50. Se requiere un examen físico para aquellos estudiantes que no jugaron voleibol. También se requiere el permiso de los padres. Por favor consulte al entrenador Correa a la hora del almuerzo si desea jugar.
• Se administrarán vacunas contra la gripe gratuitas en Father Tom Hall el miércoles 6 de diciembre, de 8:30 a 10:30 a.m.
• Los padres de salón se reunirán el miércoles 6 de diciembre a las 6 p. m.
• El viernes 8 de diciembre es la Fiesta de la Inmaculada Concepción y es un día santo de obligación. Tendremos misa escolar ese día a las 8:15 a.m.
• Tienda de Navidad Crusader: nuestra tienda de Navidad Crusader estará abierta en la biblioteca del 11 al 15 de diciembre. La Sra. Vass tiene una gran variedad de obsequios asequibles para elegir. El lunes a todos los estudiantes se les permitirá visitar la tienda. A partir del martes, los estudiantes con dinero podrán visitar la tienda durante el día con el permiso de sus profesores.
• Honraremos a Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe con flores, música y oración el martes 12 de diciembre. Estamos pidiendo a todos los estudiantes que traigan flores para honrar a la Virgen.
• Tendremos salida temprana el martes 19 de diciembre a la 1 PM. NO HAY CUIDADO POSTERIOR HOY; CAFETERÍA CERRADA HOY POR FIESTAS DE CLASE
• Misa familiar de Nochebuena: Santísima Trinidad tendrá una misa familiar a las 5:00 PM Nochebuena en la iglesia. Los coros de nuestra escuela han sido invitados a proporcionar música. ¡Los invitamos a todos a unirse a nosotros para celebrar el nacimiento de Jesús!
• Las vacaciones de Navidad para estudiantes y profesores serán del 20 de diciembre al 2 de enero.
• La Oficina estará cerrada del 20 de diciembre al 2 de enero. La oficina estará abierta en horario regular el miércoles 3 de enero.
• Los maestros tendrán capacitación y capacitación el miércoles 3 de enero; la escuela se reanudará el jueves 4 de enero.

Celebrate Your Birthday with 8th Grade!

8th grade is selling birthday baskets for $15. The basket includes a balloon and your child's favorite drinks and snacks. 8th Grade students will deliver your child's basket to the classroom on his/her special day. To order a basket, please call Ceci in the office, 915-751-2566
