Counselors have important information to share and collect from seniors this week. Please see the information below about our annual senior survey, final transcript requests, and our GenTX celebration on Friday, May 4.

Senior Survey

Seniors are required to complete a senior survey prior to graduation. Learners in English 4 should be viewing the video below and fill out the survey during class on May 2 & 3. Please talk to your learner to make sure they have completed the survey by Friday, May 4.


  1. Login to Naviance - www.tinyurl.com/coppellnaviance

  2. Go to the “About Me” tab

  3. On the left hand side, click Senior Survey 2018

  4. Please answer the questions completely

    1. Scholarship section: Only enter numbers, no symbols such as $, ., or ,. Example: If you received $25,000, you would enter is as 25000

Final Transcript Instructions

Event Information

Gen TX Day

The goal of GenTX Decision Day is to recognize high school seniors for their post-secondary plans and encourage younger students and families to prepare early for post-secondary education. Decision Day is held annually on or around May 4 and is designed to coincide with the date that most seniors must inform a college of their plans to enroll.


  • ALL DAY EVENTS
    • Fight Songs during Passing Periods
    • Seniors sport the gear of college/military they are attending!

  • LUNCH EVENTS
    • Photo Booth
    • Raffle prizes


Seniors attend during their regularly schedule lunch period.

This year, students across Texas can win prizes by sharing their GenTX Decision Day message by creating videos and posting to social media!

Seniors: You could win an IPad in just a few easy steps! Post a video to Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, or YouTube about your decision to go to college. Where are you going? How did you decide? Include @GenerationTexas and the official hashtag #GenTXDay with your video for a chance to win! Check out the Contest Rules and get started!
