Week of January 12th, 2024
Good Afternoon,
I hope you had a great week! One of my favorite parts of my job is seeing your students in action- learning and growing alongside their teachers. This week I saw students in every grade level using math models and representations to show their math thinking. I also saw many students wrapping up their unit 2 ARC work (which have came out awesome!). Fourth grade families are welcome to join us Thursday to see your child's research.
Another awesome moment this week was our Friday SEL Lesson, which focused on a text, "Everyone Has Something". This book shares about how everyone has good things and tough things about them or their lives and focuses on how we can embrace each other's struggles and help one another! It was remarkable to hear students sharing their strengths and vulnerabilities together! Check out the anchor chart Ms. Hogan's class captured during this time below!
Let's have a great week,
Lindsey Fulton, Principal
