THE WOLVERINE CONNECTION
May 27-June 1, 2024
From the desk of Mr. Lewis
Wolverine Family,
Tonight we celebrate the class of 2024 with their graduation ceremony at 7:30 pm. We encourage everyone to come out and salute this years graduates and all they have accomplished. Doors open at 6:45 pm. I am personally proud of each and everyone of them and wish them all the best!
I want to personally thank all the students, faculty and staff, parents, and community members for a great school year. There is a great deal of time and effort that goes into a great school year and it would not be possible without everyone working together.
Report cards will be available in Harmony by 3:00 pm on Thursday, May 30.
Summer school information is below and in addition an email was sent to specific students and families about summer school in both April and early May. If you have questions please contact the high school office.
Be sure to check out the information from our guidance counselor Ms. Moody.
This will be our last newsletter until mid-July when we will be sending out back to school information and other important items.
I hope everyone has a safe and enjoyable summer break!
As always, please reach out to me at dlewis@wrv.k12.in.us or at 812-659-2274 if you have any questions or concerns.
BE PROUD WOLVERINES!

Thank You Dr. Hacker!
As most of you know, our superintendent, Dr. Bob Hacker will be retiring from public education at the end of May. We have been incredibly blessed to have his leadership over the years. He has put his heart and soul into White River Valley and made it a great place for kids and our school community. He will certainly be missed and we wish him all the best.
Summer School - May 28-June 25
Summer school will run May 28-June 25 from 8:00am - 12:00 noon (during the week days). Students and parents have been previously notified about summer school. We will be making final determinations on summer school once all the second semester grades are finalized. It is extremely important if a student has been notified about summer school that they show up and complete the necessary courses to stay on track to graduate.
