The Weekly Update #4

Thank you for generously providing your time to help make the 2025 Arizona VRC Middle School State Championship on March 1st possible! Below is a spreadsheet of all the volunteer assignments and who to report to.

Excluding judges, all volunteers must be at the venue when doors open at 7:00am so you can attend the mandatory volunteer meeting at 7:15am by the competition fields. Judges, you do not have to participate in this meeting. Judges will report at 8:00 to Judges room. The meeting will set expectations for the event, touch base with whom you will work, and provide training.

This is going to be a fast-paced event; inspection and skills will begin immediately after the volunteer meeting is over as we have 44 teams.

A free T-shirt and name badge will be provided to each volunteer at check-in. Volunteers will also receive a free lunch and breakfast.

Food and drink are not permitted inside the competition area. Water is allowed. We want to ensure volunteers set a good example for the teams and comply with this policy. Food will be available in the indoor volunteer room away from the competition area.

Friday:

• Set up 4:30pm

Saturday:

• 6:45 am: Doors open

• 7:15am: Required Volunteer Meeting by competition fields

• 7:30am: Inspection resumes and skills matches begin

• 8:00am Judge's Meeting

• 8:30am: Inspection deadline, skills matches pause

• 8:45am: Opening Ceremony & Team Meeting

• 9:30am: Qualification matches begin, skills matches resume

• 12:30pm: Lunch, qualification matches pause

• 1:30pm: Qualification matches resume

• 3:30pm: Skills Closes

• 4:30pm: Qualification and skills matches end for the event

• 4:45pm: Alliance selection

• 5:00pm: Elimination tournament and awards ceremony
