Dear PAT Families,

We hope this newsletter finds you doing well and enjoying the start of February! We are looking forward to partnering with you this month. Hannibal PAT is offering in person, virtual, and telecommunication visits. We look forward to visiting with your family in whichever format meets your needs best!

February is American Heart Month and Children's Dental Health Month. Team PAT and we will be focusing on dental and heart health on our visits as well as bringing toothbrushes and paste from the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services.

We are wishing your family the best this February and cannot wait to visit with you!

Virtual Group Connection: February 18th

Activity bags are available at the ECC for pick-up. Your Parent Educator will also be happy to bring one to your visit.

Create a Love Bug using construction paper, glue, and google eyes!

Paper Roll

Fine Motor Practice/Color Sort

Use paper roll tubes and tongs to transfer poms for fine motor sort. You can also use this activity for color matching or counting practice

Uses

Design your own heart masterpiece using a paper roll rube, white paper and red paint. Shape your tube into a heart and let your creativity shine!

Heart Fingerprint Activity

Use your child's fingertips for a special fingerprint art activity to remember this year and this special age.

Items Needed:

White Paper

Assorted Finger Paint

Heart Shape (You can either put a heart shape in the center and have your child place prints all around the paper, or they could fill the inside of the heart with fingerprints)

The Day It Rained Hearts

What would you do if it started raining hearts? This book with helps with understanding the concept of being thoughtful. As an extension, help your child make hearts to share with people special to your child.
