MPVA Weekly Update

Happy Tuesday Greyhound Family,

I hope you've enjoyed your 4-day weekend with our kiddos. Please see the updates below and let us know how we can support you!

Parents will follow their student’s daily schedule from period to period, beginning with Homeroom. During the Homeroom period, you will engage in a Title I presentation to provide information on how we can support you and your family throughout the school year. We look forward to seeing you tomorrow at 6:00 pm. Note: Be sure to write or take a photo of your child's schedule to follow. If unavailable, we will have a copy for you.

Beginning this Thursday September 5th, students will bring home NWEA MAP reports that provide detailed information on your child's beginning-of-the-year progress. Please take time to read over this data. If you have any questions, be sure to reach out to your child's content area teachers, or Ms. Majdi- Campus Testing Coordinator, at Elizabeth.Majdi@houstonisd.org.

Registration for Morning and After-Care for the 2024-2025 school year can be found at https://mpva.membershiptoolkit.com/aftercare-2023-page1.

There is a $75 registration fee, This year’s rate is a $180 flat fee per month that includes both morning and after care.
