SEPTEMBER 9 , 2022
Happy September!
This week has been a fantastic week as we move into Q1. We loved being in classrooms with students and teachers. Students were engaged in history projects, scavenger hunts, and news broadcasting. It was so much fun to be interviewed by students, dance in the hallways, and just be together.
Next week is Open House. Students and Families are welcome to join us for an informal time together. The information is below. For those of you not brave (or patient) enough to weather the traffic and parking storm, we get it! Instead, please check out teacher videos on Blackboard and Google Classroom. Yes, we realize that parking will be tight, but again we are so thankful for this problem as we inch closer to moving into our new home. We're also thankful for your patience and understanding. For those of you who are looking forward to being back in our building, we're ready for you and are excited to say hello!
Have an awesome weekend!

Open House
Junior High Families
We are excited to invite you to Open House on September 13th! Due to parking constraints we have adjusted the format but wanted to give you an opportunity to see the building and connect with the staff in person.
Format: Open House! Come tour the school, meet the teachers, see the classrooms and find out how to get connected in the Media Center.
Schedule: Families of students with the last name A-K can tour from 6-6:45 pm and last name L-Z 7:15-8 pm. Your student will provide you a list of spots to stop by, and members of the Flight Crew will make sure you find your way around the building.
Virtual: Teachers will post an introduction of themselves and their course on Blackboard for those who aren't able to attend or would like more information.
Parking: Is going to be tight! We would encourage you to walk, bike, or carpool! There are parks and parking lots within 1/2 a mile of the school.
More Questions: If you need a longer meeting with the teacher, Parent/Teacher conferences are coming in October or feel free to set up a meeting at a different time.
Let us know if you have any questions, but we look forward to SEEING YOU on September 13th!
