MADE Blended Learning Series
2024-25
Sponsored by MISD's Instructional Technology Department & MADE
Developing Innovative Digital Educators Since 2014
What is MADE?
Macomb County Academy for Digital Educators is the MISD’s premier blended learning academy designed to help participants develop and facilitate a personalized learning environment for digital age teaching and learning.
What is the MADE Blended Series?
“Blending” means combining digital technology resources with face-to-face classroom instruction in a way that empowers students and promotes achievement. Almost all educators are now using digital resources in daily classroom activities.
The 24-25 Series consists of four FREE self-paced online courses, and participants may choose to complete any or all of them. The courses promote and support the pedagogy of technology integration using the resources you already have in your district. Along the way, participants will also encounter other resources available to make classroom use of technology more effective. Each course is estimated to take participants five to six hours to complete, and SCECHs are available for a $10 application fee.
Who Should Participate?
Any Macomb County K-12 educator (in any subject area or grade level), media specialist, instructional coach and district technology leader seeking to further their professional development on how to embed technology into their current practice in order to help students become active creators, collaborators and critical thinkers rather than passive consumers of technology. All technology skill levels are welcome!
MADE Blended Learning Certification Option
For participants completing all four courses, there is an additional certification opportunity. Information about Certification is located in each course.
