Community Week 2/12-2/15
Celebrating Friendship and Belonging!
🧡🏘️😄
Schools across the district are celebrating community week 2/12-2/15
🧡🏘️😄
See below for an outline of activities that will be taking place at CEPS!
Monday 2/12: Gratitude Day- We will share a brief message of gratitude on the morning announcements, as well as let students know we are looking for students showing gratitude to others, saying thank you and sharing appreciation for one another.
Tuesday 2/13: Random Acts of Kindness Day- Classroom teachers will use a bingo board full of activities to promote and track Random Acts of Kindness completed by their students. How many classrooms will get bingo by the end of the day?
Wednesday 2/14: Friendship Day! And “Letter R” Dress-Up Day! Students and staff are invited to dress in clothing that starts with the letter R. You may wear Red, Roses, Robots, Race Cars, Ribbons, etc.
We will also keep the acts of kindness going by decorating bags and bookmarks with kind messages. The bags will be returned to local businesses to delight customers with cute kindness bags decorated by our CEPS students. In addition, we will provide bookmarks to decorate. These bookmarks will be hidden in books across the district and throughout our community to brighten someone’s day.
Thursday 2/15: Compliment Day! We will share a brief message during our video announcements encouraging students to give genuine compliments today!
We will also share “compliment cards” that students can color and hand out to friends.
