Discovery Education offers digital content, interactive lessons, free lesson plans and materials, virtual experiences, classroom contests & challenges, professional development and more. All content is aligned to state standards, can be aligned to custom curriculum, and supports classroom instruction regardless of the technology platform. And the best thing about it is that it is free for FCS teachers!

If you are interested in using this service, all you need to do is go to the website and create your account. If you already have an account from another Fulton County School, please change your account location to this school the next time you sign in.

Here’s all you have to do: ​

1. Log onto www.discoveryeducation.com

2. At the top of the screen, click on the tab marked "passcode/create new user"

3. Enter our school's passcode: A319-F7CD

4.The next screen will prompt you to add or revise your information:

For new accounts: fill out the form, choose a user name and password and you’re done.

Transferring schools: If you already have a Discovery Streaming account from another FCS school, when you type in your username and password it will transfer the account over to your new school.

Once you create an account you will login in through your Fulton Classlink account.

If your school is closed due to the COVID-19 virus, please fill out this form to receive free, unlimited use of the full BrainPOP suite during the period of closure. You will receive an email with instructions on next steps to set up your account.

Remote Learning will both look and feel different for our students. Students may experience confusion and stress during this time due to a change in routine, angst about the Corona Virus, etc. In order to support our students, we developed Social and Emotional Learning lessons. These lessons were designed to be directly accessed for students K-12. Students are expected to complete one lesson per week during Remote Learning . Additional content is also available in the Connect With Kids resource located on Launchpad and the Infinite Campus Parent Portal.

2. There is a large library in SAFARI Montage of Standards-Based Learning Playlists, which have been created for the four core subject areas. Teachers are encouraged to check there to see if there is a playlist for their current standard.

• Login to SAFARI Montage from Classlink.
• Click the Playlists icon.
• Click Search in the top right corner.
• Click + to open District Playlists folder. Open the Elementary, Middle or High School folder. Then open the folders for your subject area and grade level.

In an extended school closure situation, teachers will need a classroom hub to be able to communicate with all students, post assignments, collect work etc.
