SPEHS Cardinal Call
East Parent/Caregiver September 29, 2024
Greetings East High School scholars, families, and caregivers,
We would like to thank you all for the generous donations of snacks that our scholars were able to munch on during Tuesday's preAct exam. A selection of healthful snacks and water were available to the students. We are really grateful for your kindness and generosity.
Additionally, we would like to express our gratitude to Mr. Reggie Williams and Ms. Leja for all of their help and support in organizing and supervising our senior field trip on September 24. We will use the invaluable feedback from our scholars to help plan the field trip for the following year. We're excited to provide more opportunities for real-world engagement with various career pathways.
We are excited to welcome October and all of the events and activities in which our scholars will be participating. We continue to honor Hispanic Heritage Month by announcing significant culturally significant facts every day. The Hispanic Student Union will perform during WIN time on October 15th to wrap up this awareness month. We invite the community and families to join us in celebrating and supporting our scholars.
Do not hesitate to get in touch with the main office if you have any questions or concerns. You can get help from our administrative assistants finding the right administrator.
Regards,
Renee Coleman, Principal
Chrissy Mitlyng, Associate Principal
Rachel Looper, Associate Principal

Scholar Day-to-Day Information
Parking Pass
Scholars must have their parking pass visible in their rearview window in order to park in the lot. A new rule that went into effect this year permits scholars to park in any number of spaces throughout the lot. The first day of parking enforcement is Monday, September 23rd. Before getting a parking ticket, scholars will receive a warning notice.
If a scholar is still interested in buying a parking pass, they must go to the front desk and present their driver's license, proof of auto insurance, and scholar information. Please complete this request during lunch hour and passing time. You can pick up the parking pass with financial secretary Reva McFarlane in the main office after we receive your request and pay the $60 fee.
